Amplius was formed through the merger of Longhurst Group and Grand Union Housing Group (GUHG).

The organisations wanted a fresh visual identity that reflected the ethos and values of both companies. The new brand centres on themes of connection and community. The name “Amplius,” derived from Latin, means “to go further” or “to do more,” suggesting a shared ambition to amplify aspirations and foster togetherness through the idea of “us.”

Building on this foundation and the research undertaken, I developed an identity that highlights the “us” within the name and introduces a warm, welcoming colour palette. The brand tone is intentionally genuine, friendly, and down-to-earth, helping Amplius communicate with clarity and authenticity.
